fundaMENTAL 4 : Move on Gulabi Ankhein, the waters here are Pink!!

Lake Retba or Lac Rose (meaning Pink lake) lies about some 30 km north-east of Dakar, capital of Senegal and is named for its pink waters caused by Dunaliella salina algae and is known for its highsalt content which is upto 40% in some areas.
The color is particularly visible during the dry season (from November to June) and is less visible during the rainy season (July to October).
The lake was often the finishing point of the Dakar Rally before it moved to South America in 2009.


P.S. There are other Pink lakes in the world such as Pink Lake and Lake Hellier in Australia.

Glenn Theodore Seaborg was an American chemist who was the principal or co-discoverer of ten elements : Plutonium, Americium, Curium, Berkelium, Californium, Einsteinium,Fermium, Mendelevium, Nobelium, and element 106.
He is the only person in the world to have had the honour of an element being named after him while he was still living. Element 106 discovered by him was named Seaborgium.

Def Leppard are an English rock band formed in 1977 in Sheffield as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. 
On 23 October 1995, the band entered the Guinness Book of World Records by performing three concerts on three continents in one day (Tangiers, Morocco; London, England; and Vancouver, Canada)

Andrew Gordon Ganteaume is a Trinidadian former cricketer who played one Test match for the West Indies in 1948 and scored 112 in his only Test innings, which left him with highest Test batting average in history. A batting average higher than the Great Don Bradman whose average was 99.94.
